Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs has a heart for the orphan and believes that God calls us to reach out to the needy and hurting. There are many outlets here at MSC to provide support and care for orphans around the world.
MSC Adoption Ministries would like to challenge everyone to be a part of the biblical mandate to care for orphans and widows.
Orphan care is not just for people who adopt, it's something the entire church needs to be involved in.

What we are doing now!
At Mountain Springs Church, we believe in the scriptural direction presented in James 1:27.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...
Although the name is MSC Adoption Ministries, God has given us a three-pronged vision to include orphan care, adoption support, and caring for the widow.
We currently have four areas of involvement:
- New Hope Uganda, a children's center for orphans in Uganda (currently, Uganda is not open for adoption)
- For His Glory Adoption Outreach, an orphanage in Haiti
- MSC Adoption Support Group, welcoming those interested in adoption, adopting domestically, or adopting internationally
- Widow and Orphan Care Fund (enabling MSC to meet needs in our own community)
- MSC Adoption Forums, an on-line area to discuss all things adoption and adoption support
- Vision Nationals, a ministry based in India that cares for and educates orphans and plants churches
Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs has also partnered with the Denver-based Project 1.27 to help church families adopt kids from Colorado for very little cost. Whether it’s supporting orphans in Uganda, adopting from Haiti (or another international location), adopting domestically, or contributing to the widow and orphan-care fund, Mountain Springs Church would love to have you be a part of this exciting new ministry!

Opportunities with MSC Adoption Ministries
- Missions trips to New Hope, Uganda or For His Glory Adoption Outreach, Haiti
- Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs Adoption Support Group; meets every 2nd Friday at MSC 6:30 — 8:30 p.m.
- Prayer support for New Hope, For His Glory, or our local adoptive families
- Help with our annual “Pennies for Orphans” campaign
- Contribute to Widow and Orphan-care Fund (designate your gift to Widow and Orphan Care fund when you give through Mountain Springs Church)
