Narrow Path is our Nursery area for newborns to 35 months old.
Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:14
Service times
- 6:30pm on Saturday night
- 9:00am on Sunday morning
- 11:00am on Sunday morning
Check in Process:
The children first check into their age appropriate classes. The parent will fill out a security tag with an assigned number and then sign the child into their class. If a child needs their parent during the service their number will be displayed on a LCD screen in the main sanctuary.
Age breakup for classrooms
- Birth-1 year olds
- Walker ones-2 year olds
- 2-2 ½ year olds
- 2 ½-3 year olds
Classroom activities include
- Age appropriate craft or color sheet that coordinates with the bible story for that week
- Snack that is peanut free(other allergies will be handled on a case by case basis)
- Free play time with puzzles, toys, play dough, etc…
Goal:
The goal of Narrow Path is two-fold. First, it is a ministry of Christ-like love and nurturing to the infants. Secondly, it is an introduction to age appropriate Bible stories. Children will have their first experience with knowing Jesus through praise and worship and Bible teaching, as well as interactive play. Parents and children are greeted by loving teachers, who have a heart for children and a heart to serve Jesus. Having children in our midst is a Holy privilege and we strive to respond to Jesus’ words: “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”(Mark 9:37)NKJV
Opportunity:
The children who attend Narrow Path will be given the opportunity to hear God’s word through picture stories of the Old and New Testament. As well as have God’s word reinforced through Action Bible songs. The parents also have the opportunity to volunteer in their child’s classroom to be Jesus to His precious children.
Adventure:
Having a personal walk with Jesus Christ is an adventure. We at Mountain Springs Church desire for each child in Narrow Path to have a positive loving experience each time they come to their class. Each child will be received with loving arms, and make an age appropriate craft or color sheet which corresponds with the picture Bible lesson for the week.
Life commitment:
The Children’s Ministry team desires to grow faith in the youngest of God’s children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and friend. We want your child’s experience at Mountain Springs church to be filled with sound Biblical principles.
