Josiah Dangers grew up as a missionary kid in Uganda, East Africa. He attended John Brown University where he received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and minored in Intercultural Studies and Community Development. He met his beautiful bride Autum at JBU and they were married shortly after graduation in 2004. In September of the same year they moved out to Colorado Springs and began attending Mountain Springs Church and leading worship in the Elevate youth program.
Josiah expected that God would send him and his family back out on the mission field, and was surprised to discover that God was leading him into full time ministry here in the States. God opened the door for him to come on staff as the Youth and Young Adult Associate Pastor in March of 2007. Josiah loves leading worship, teaching God’s word, one-on-one and small group discipleship, and raising up the next generation of leaders in the church. He is passionate about missions and loves the opportunity to take young people out into the mission field. Pastor Josiah Dangers also loves to play soccer, do almost anything outdoors, play music, and most of all to spend time with Autum and their son Malakai.
