Pastor Mike Burwell

Mike Burwell committed his life to Christ at an early age, having been born into a multi-generational heritage of Spirit-filled Christians. His talented, musical family instilled a passion and appreciation for worship early in life.

Michael studied Business Management at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He married his high school sweetheart Dina when they were both 19 years old. Natives to Southern California, Mike and Dina planted new roots in Colorado Springs in 1986.

Mike first led worship at the age of 11 and, in addition to leading in the local church, he has traveled throughout the world teaching and leading at conferences and events. Michael also invested many years in mainstream business and was a vice president in a nationwide, top-10 marketing agency before joining Mountain Springs Church as the Worship Pastor.

Mike’s passions include writing and recording music in his home-based studio, mountain biking, fishing, and camping but, most of all, spending time with his family which includes his teenage son and daughter, Julian and Jasmine.  Go to the Mountain Springs Church Worship pages.
