AWANA has an evangelistic focus designed to reach unchurched youth and their families. We have an exciting Sunday afternoon program with games, Bible memory and lessons, uniforms, awards, and more!

About Our Club
AWANA clubs meet on Sunday afternoons during the school year. Cubbies through Trek clubs meet from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Journey, our high school program, meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. AWANA club meetings consist of an exciting game time, a Bible lesson time, and a handbook time. Clubbers earn awards as they complete work in their handbook. These awards are given out each evening.
Children starting AWANA receive an entrance booklet. Upon completion of the entrance booklet, clubbers receive a handbook and an AWANA uniform. The handbooks include Bible memorization and activities. Parents are encouraged to work with their children on handbook memory verses and activities.
Clubbers earn AWANA shares for handbook work, club attendance, team awards and Sunday school attendance. An "AWANA Store" night is held on designated Sundays where the clubbers may redeem their shares for really cool stuff!
Cubbies Preschool, ages 3 - 5
Fun – and lots of it! Awana is fun with a purpose: to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
Sparks, Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Fun + learning = results! Sparks club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for churched and unchurched kids alike. Club meetings are divided into three segments:
- Bible teaching, worship, award presentations and the gospel message
- Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons
- Age-appropriate games on the Awana game circle
Along the way, Sparky, the friendly firefly, encourages boys and girls to learn verses and complete assignments throughout the three handbooks.
T & T, 3rd - 6th Grade
The name "Truth & Training" reflects the passion of Awana to teach third through sixth grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T & T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow, today.
TREK, 7th - 8th Grade
- Our ministry for junior-high students, meets the needs of teenagers at three different levels
- One level (Come See) targets unsaved youth
- A second level (Come Follow) helps young or nominal believers grow in their faith
- Another level (Come Serve) trains committed teenagers for leadership, ministry service and a deeper walk with God
Young people are given opportunities to put their faith in action by getting involved in service projects and serving their church. One such program plugs youth into assistant leadership roles in younger-age Awana clubs.
Journey 24-7, High-School
Journey 24-7, features an energetic look, enhanced content, life application and an emphasis on Scripture memory. These new materials will provide youth pastors and leaders with relevant tools for in-depth, focused discipleship. They are challenging and thought provoking yet accessible to students from all spiritual backgrounds. The best part about 24-7 is that it offers adaptable alternatives grounded solidly in the Word.
We will be attaching a version of this calendar to the back of every clubber's handbook. We will send home flyers or permission slips for special events as well as notes for Sunday school attendance. Please check your child's book each week for possible notes or flyers.
