- Friends of Marriage We call this ministry Friends of Marriage (FOM) to emphasize that we are not professional counselors but friends who have worked through marriage issues of our own and are willing to come alongside an engaged couple to help prepare them for marriage. We are a group of couples who have been married for several years, love the Lord and are willing to be open about our marriage walk. FOM couples assist MSC Pastors in preparing couples for marriage and then walk (as friends) with the newly married couple for the first 12-24 months.
- Marriage Treks and Equipping Held each Sunday morning at MSC, this is a spiritual, scriptural, simple and fun way to acquire the tools necessary for successful marriage and family relationships.
- Marriage Renewal (Marriage 911) We call this ministry Marriage Renewal (Marriage 911) to emphasize that we are not professional counselors but trained married couples who have had victory over crisis times in our marriages through the guidance and prayer of others, believing the Word of God, yielding to Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Our goal is to help restore and renew your marriage and then connect each couple with ongoing discipling at MSC.

The Marriage Trek Progression:
Colorado Springs Faith Community Marriage Policy
Mountain Springs Church, under Pastor Steve Holt, led the way to achieve a Colorado Springs Faith Community Marriage Policy. This policy was signed by the Mayor of Colorado Springs and a large number of the spiritual leaders in the Colorado Springs area.
This policy pledged to:
- Prepare couples for lifelong marriages
- Strengthen and enrich existing marriages
- Reconcile separated couples, and
- Enable stepfamilies to be successful.
To this end, we have pledged that we train and utilize mentor couples to work with engaged couples and newlyweds. We will promote sexual abstinence outside of marriage and encourage a courtship period and discourage cohabitation. We will cooperate with others in the Colorado Springs community to share our resources and to work, before the Lord, to create a positive climate in which marriages will succeed.
