Children's Life
This individual greets and guides families through the entire electronic classroom check-in process. The time commitment is 30 minutes before service and approximately 10 minutes into the start of service for 2 services per month.
This individual leads children, small group leaders and room coaches in a time of high energetic, choreographed worship. The time commitment is one service on a weekly rotation.
The Tech Team works together to provide audio, video, and computer graphics support. The time commitment is one service on a weekly rotation.
This volunteer takes part in special events that occur throughout the year such as Vacation Bible School or a Holiday worship program. Responsibilites could include set up/tear down, leading the children, props, coordinating other volunteers, etc. The time commitment varies, based on the event.
A leader is a clubber's main Awana contact. Leaders specifically are responsible to lead clubbers during the weekly Awana club meeting. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old and the time commitment is 2.5 hours per week.
A dynamic teacher who will prepare and teach an apologetic Bible lesson to 3rd-6th grade girls once each week on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-5:00PM.
This song leader leads 3rd-6th grade children in age appropriate songs each week at 3:40pm and 4:20pm for 10 minutes each. Playing an instrument is not required but is preferred.
AWANA Leader in Training
A Leader in Training (L.I.T.) is a high school student who serves beside an adult AWANA leader. He/she will assist the adult in all aspects of training children to know, love and serve the Lord. The time commitment is 2 hours per week.
L.A.M.S. Teacher
This person teaches various subjects (i.e. art, history, music, physical education, science, writing, etc.) to homeschool children (ages 4 to 18) in a Christian classroom setting. These subjects are designed to round out the homeschool experience for families who have chosen this option.
This parent supports the L.A.M.S. program by assisting the teachers in the classrooms, caring for the children under 4 years of age, supervising the homework room and/or game table, manning the Front Desk, maintaining the Snack Table, monitoring hallways or performing building maintenance. Job assignments are made at time of registration and all duties associated with each job are required to be completed during each meeting time for the whole semester.
This individual disciples a group of 5-8 children and encourages spiritual growth through relationships, discussion and participation in other small group activities making a life-long impact. The time commitment is 2 hours per service on a weekly or semi-monthly rotation.
Room Coaches
This individual is someone who is energetic and enthusiastic while providing leadership and support to a team of small group leaders and oversees the learning environment within the classroom; leads classroom activities and assigns children to small groups. The time commtment is 2 hours per service either on a weekly or semi-monthly rotation.
Emcee
This individual serves as the host; usually welcomes the children, may transition to the story and/or worship; dismisses the children to small groups. The time commitment is 2 hours per service on a weekly or bi-monthly rotation.
Story Teller
This individual tells the Bible story in a captivating, enthusiastic way. The time commitment is 2 hours per service.
Creative Team
This individual reinforces the Bible story through creative drama, skits and/or puppetry. The time commitment is 2 hours per service on a semi-monthly rotation.
Host
This individual oversees, schedules and supports the host team; also greets families as they enter the children's building and escorts visiting familes to their classrooms. The time commitment is one hour per service on a weekly or semi-monthly rotation.

Resource Team
This individual helps behind the scenes preparation for weekend services; this could include snacks, organizing or preparing supplies, curriculum copies, laundry, room cleaning or preparation or administrative support throughout the week. This is a non-service position.
Intern
This individual has the opportunity to perform tasks within their area of interest and has the full experience of working in the ministry. This position can either be during service or during the week.
Prayer Team
This individual covers the Children's Life staff, volunteers, events, etc., in prayer on a regular basis and takes part in pre-service prayer times.
The Greeter greets visitors and congregants with a smile as they enter the church building. They are part of the team that welcomes people and makes them feel comfortable. The minimum age to serve is 16 years old and the time commitment is one service per month for 45 minutes.
The Usher provides a warm and friendly atmosphere by seating people in the sanctuary, taking the offering, taking the census and assisting with communion. The minimum age to serve is 18 years old and the time commitment is one service per month for one hour.
The Guest Ambassador greets and meets with visitors, helps direct people and gives any general information that weekend visitors need to feel welcomed with a hands on touch and personalized attention. The minimum age to serve is 16 years old and the time commitment is one service per month for 45 minutes.
This volunteer is a critical team player in the cash receipt process. Funds are carefully processed during each weekend service to ensure the correct accounting information is preserved. The minimum age is 18 years old and the time commitment is 15-30 minutes per service on a monthly rotation.
This team member is responsible for the protection of our pastors, staff, members, children and guests. This individual may be asked to serve at special events. The minimum age requirement is 21 years old and the time commitment is one service per month for 2 hours.
This team member responds immediately to any medical emergency that occurs during the service they are assigned. The time commitment is 2 1/4 hours per service and the minimum age to serve is 18 years old.
The Prayer Team prays for those who come forward after services or prays for services as they are taking place. Training is required and will be provided. The time commitment varies.
Mentors are mature believers who come alongside those in need for a season (men with men, women with women, couples with couples). Training is required and will be provided. The time commitment varies.
These mentors are couples who work with engaged couples going through our Preparing for Marriage program. Training is required and will be provided for both pre-marriage and post-marriage.
The Small Group Leader leads a small group that encourages our students to get into the Word of God. The small group leader will keep in touch with their students during the month in addition to the assigned bi-monthly small group meetings in Elevate and Accelerate. The minimum age to serve is 18 years old and the time commitment is approximately 3 hours per week.
This Accelerate Leader has the distinct privilege of upholding the noble cause of having fun through a variety of age appropriate games for 6th - 8th grade students. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old and the time commitment is 1 hour per week.
As the Small Group Leader you will lead a group of 6-8 high school or middle school students based on age and gender. You will be responsible for facilitating a discussion based on the sessions and encourage spiritual growth while building relationships with the students.
This team prays for the Elevate/Accelerate students duing the week and throughout the month as well as in the prayer room during one weekend service per month. The time commitment is approximately 3 hours per month and the minimum age is 20 years old.
These adults foster the building of relationships among students, parents, and the Student Life leaders. They also help by roaming the sanctuary and commons area as assigned to make sure our students are safe and in their assigned locations. Connect team is requested to serve at one weekend per month. The minimum age to serve is 21 years old and the time commitment is 2 hours per month.
This team helps facilitate events for student fellowship by organizing snacks, communicating with parents, and helping plan fun events for our Student Life body. The minimum age requirement is 21 years old and the time commitment is approximately 6 hours per month.
This team supports the weekend services by helping with Audio/Visual, set up, organizing and creating videos and sound and lighting for both Accelerate and Elevate services. These volunteers are asked to serve one weekend per month in both Accelerate and Elevate. The minimum age to serve is 18 years old and the time commitment is approximately 6 hours per month.
An instrumentalist assists the worship leader as they lead the congregation into God's presence through the playing of his or her instrument. The minimum age requirement is 16 years old and the time commitment is one full weekend (all services) and mid-week practice.
A vocalist is an integral part of the worship team and sings on the ensemble for each of the main services. The minimum age requirement to serve is 16 years old and the time commitment is one full weekend each month (all services) and a mid-week practice.
This team member prepares meals on a given Saturday for the Worship Team (app. 20 people). Assistance is available for preparation if needed. Food purchased within a specific budget is reimbursed. The minimum age to serve is 18 years old and the time committment is 3 hours per week on a rotating basis.
The Tech Team steers the technical aspect of the main weekend services in working with lights, projection, or the sound board. The minimum age requirement to serve is 16 years old and the time commitment is one full weekend (all services) per month and a mid-week practice.

The Life Group Leader facilitates and nurtures an environment for growth within a small group setting so that every member can feel safe, share life and experience an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ in a dynamic, life-transforming, small group community. The time commitment varies depending on the frequency of the group.
