Stewardship
I Corinthians 4:1-2 (NKJ) says:
Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.
A steward is very similar to a trustee or fiduciary. A trustee is defined by one dictionary as “a manager entrusted to control property or to act on behalf of and for the benefit of another."
An important part of this stewardship of our lives involves financial stewardship. At Mountain Springs Church, we have an important role being stewards of financial resources. Our endeavor is to be found faithful in our use of these financial resources entrusted to us. Our hope is that you too will be found faithful in your use of the resources God has entrusted to you.
This section of our website is intended to disclose key financial numbers and data relating to church finances and to provide financial resources for members, visitors, employees, and volunteers.
Luke 12:35-38 (NKJ) says,
“Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
Let us press on to be found as ready and faithful stewards, glorifying the Father in His Kingdom business!
